Rapid Spawn – Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) defines acceptable and prohibited uses of Rapid Spawn services in order to protect the reliability, security, and integrity of our infrastructure, clients, and network, and to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

2. Scope

This AUP applies to all Rapid Spawn services, including but not limited to:

  • Game server hosting
  • Web and WordPress hosting
  • Infrastructure and related services
  • Add-ons, software, and associated resources

This AUP forms part of, and is incorporated by reference into, the Rapid Spawn Terms of Service.

3. Client Responsibility

Clients are solely responsible for:

  • All activity conducted under their Account
  • Actions taken by users, administrators, or third parties granted access
  • Content, applications, and services hosted or operated through Rapid Spawn

Clients are responsible for ensuring that all use of the Services complies with this AUP and applicable laws.

4. Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited, whether intentional or unintentional, direct or indirect.

4.1 Network Abuse

  • Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks, whether initiated, participated in, or relayed
  • Network flooding, packet spoofing, reflection, or amplification attacks
  • Interference with Rapid Spawn infrastructure, upstream providers, or other clients

4.2 Malicious Software & Unauthorized Access

  • Malware, ransomware, spyware, trojans, botnets, or similar malicious software
  • Unauthorized access attempts, exploitation, or privilege escalation
  • Port scanning, vulnerability probing, or penetration testing without explicit authorization

4.3 Resource Abuse

  • Excessive CPU, RAM, disk, or network usage that negatively impacts other clients or infrastructure
  • Circumventing imposed resource limits or usage restrictions
  • Cryptocurrency mining, blockchain workloads, or similar compute-intensive activities unless explicitly permitted

4.4 Illegal Content & Activities

  • Content or activities that violate local, national, or international laws
  • Fraud, phishing, impersonation, or deceptive practices
  • Distribution of stolen, pirated, or unlawfully obtained content

4.5 Spam & Messaging Abuse

  • Bulk email, unsolicited messages, or spam campaigns
  • Abuse of contact forms, messaging systems, or automated communications

4.6 Copyright & Intellectual Property Infringement

  • Hosting, distributing, or facilitating access to copyrighted material without authorization
  • Repeated or willful copyright infringement

5. Game Server–Specific Rules

In addition to the above, game hosting clients must not:

  • Exploit game mechanics in a manner that harms infrastructure stability
  • Host malicious mods, exploits, or unauthorized software
  • Use servers to coordinate cheating, hacking, harassment, or real-world harm

6. Enforcement & Penalties

Rapid Spawn reserves the right to take any enforcement action it deems appropriate, including but not limited to:

  • Warnings
  • Temporary service suspension
  • Immediate termination without refund
  • Data removal or account restriction

Enforcement actions may be taken with or without prior notice, including in response to suspected violations, security risks, or legal obligations.

Rapid Spawn is not obligated to investigate or provide advance notice before enforcement.

7. Law Enforcement & Legal Compliance

Rapid Spawn may cooperate with law enforcement or regulatory authorities where legally required, including by:

  • Preserving or disclosing account information
  • Suspending or terminating Services
  • Restricting access to content or systems

8. Modifications to This Policy

Rapid Spawn may update this AUP at any time.

Continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
